About:

The Creative Impact Program is a space where youth and families discover their voice, build confidence, and explore their gifts through art, media, and creative expression. This program was created to give young people from Buffalo the opportunity to grow in environments that are safe, supportive, and filled with possibility.

The Creative Impact Program blends hands on learning with real world application. Participants learn from local artists, photographers, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who teach classes that build both skill and character. Sessions may include painting, photography, video creation, spoken word, music, dance, fashion, content creation, and other creative arts that help youth express who they are and what they care about.
Our goal is to open doors that many young people never imagined they could walk through. We help them develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and confidence while also introducing them to career paths in the arts, media, and digital creativity. The program highlights the power of creativity as a tool for healing, growth, and community impact.

The Creative Impact Program includes workshops, mentoring, field experiences, and a youth led showcase that allows participants to present their work to family, friends, and the community. Every class is designed to inspire, strengthen, and encourage the next generation of creators, innovators, and leaders.
Through this program, LMCimpact continues its mission of enriching lives and creating opportunities for youth to thrive. We believe that creativity builds strong minds, strong voices, and strong communities, and we are honored to invest in the future of every young person we serve.

Dance Class:

Today’s dance rehearsal marked the very first session of our Creative Impact: Community Arts and Cultural Empowerment Program. Over the next several months, youth across Buffalo will experience workshops in dance, music, visual arts, storytelling, and spoken word.

Our dancers will take the stage in December for a special holiday celebration, followed by monthly arts sessions and a community showcase this spring and summer. We are excited for everything that is ahead, and grateful for the young people who bring their gifts, creativity, and light to every class.
