Pastor Brinson was born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York, under the leadership of Morning Star C.O.G.I.C. In September 2004, Pastor Brinson married the Late Apostle, Bishop Joseph Brinson Jr., Presiding Prelate, of Covenant of Grace Fellowship International and Senior Pastor of Covenant of Grace Niagara Falls, New York and Kansas City,Kansas. She is a loving mother, step-mom, and proud grandmother.
In May 2005, Pastor Brinson stood by her husband, Joseph Brinson Jr., by answering the call to birth Covenant of Grace Ministries and in 2008 launching Covenant of Grace Fellowship International where we are Empowering a people, that Empowers a community, to Empower the world! In 2022 Pastor Brinson accepted the Designation to be the Senior Pastor of Covenant of Grace Fellowship International. A woman of grace, integrity, vision, and strength, Pastor Bertha Brinson is truly one of God's leading ladies. As the former President of the Dove Sisterhood Ministry, which is the Women's Ministry at Covenant of Grace NY, Pastor Brinson carefully teaches and trains women to be effective in ministry, virtuous in their daily lives, and faithful to the call of God. Her burden and passion is to help women experience joy, wholeness, and purpose by diligently seeking God through his word and His will for their lives. An anointed speaker, gifted encourager, and excellent administrator, Pastor Brinson works tirelessly to assist in the growth and development of Covenant of Grace. In 2009, she launched Western New York's 1st annual "Let's Be a Lady" Women’s Conference in Niagara Falls, NY. Women from around the region were inspired, motivated, and renewed through the power-packed services of this conference. Always standing alongside her husband, Bishop Joseph Brinson Jr., in ministry, Pastor Brinson is a woman of virtue and character, who lives by her convictions. Always humble, Pastor Brinson is willing to serve in whatever capacity she is needed for the upward building of the Kingdom of God. Our beloved Pastor Brinson’s heart for people truly shines bright everywhere she goes. Pastor Brinson is a vessel of honor, and above all, a blood-washed believer striving every day to please God. Along with building God’s Kingdom, Lady Brinson is the proud owner of Bambi’s Consignment Boutique, visionary of “Lady I am Empowerment” and she has also completed her degree in Human Services. Kiya is a dedicated wife, proud mother of three adult children, and a creative force in her community. As the First Lady of God's Temple of Grace Church, where her husband serves as pastor, Kiya leads with grace and compassion, overseeing the church's vibrant women's ministry. Her entrepreneurial spirit shines as the owner of Kiya's Creations, a business specializing in handmade, one-of-a-kind items that reflect her artistic vision and meticulous craftsmanship. In addition to her church and business roles, Kiya is the Finance Director for NCF, where her expertise and diligence help drive organizational success. Known for her hardworking nature and innovative ideas, Kiya inspires those around her with her unwavering faith, creativity, and commitment to service.

Javeena A. Edwards, MBA, brings over 15 years of comprehensive experience in accounting and finance across diverse industries, including banking, manufacturing, medical, and nonprofit sectors. Her expertise spans various areas such as system integration, corporate acquisitions, talent and leadership development, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Currently, Javeena serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Jewish Family Services of WNY. Since 1862, Jewish Family Services of Western New York has been providing all members of our community with critical health and human services, regardless of religion, ethnicity, cultural background, gender identification, ability, or age. The life-changing and wide-ranging services are provided by professional staff, supported by our extended family of dedicated volunteers and generous donors. JFS of WNY is a $10.4M organization with over $8M in grants and contracted services. Prior to joining JFS, Javeena was the CFO for Girl Scouts of WNY (GSWNY). She has previously held the role of Interim CEO at GSWNY, where her leadership contributed to the organization being named one of the Top 10 Places to Work in NYS for five consecutive years. Her tenure saw strengthened relationships with elected officials and community partners, as well as the successful launch of the "I Belong" product line. In addition to her role at GSWNY, Javeena owns JWV Consulting Firm, LLC, providing financial consulting and bookkeeping services to nonprofits and small businesses in the WNY area. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University at Buffalo School of Management, an MBA from Medaille University, and graduation from Leadership Buffalo in 2022. Beyond her professional achievements, Javeena is actively involved in her community. She has served on several boards, including as Vice President of the Foundation Board at Crisis Services of WNY, Treasurer of the Board at Buffalo Commons Charter School, and is currently a Board Trustee for Tapestry Charter School and a Board Member for Peaceprints of WNY. Her deep connection to Buffalo, where she was born and raised, fuels her commitment to serving underserved populations and fostering community engagement. Javeena is a 2022 graduate of Leadership Buffalo, 2024 Buffalo Black Achiever Award recipient, 2024 M&T Bank Next Up Leadership Program. Javeena is a dedicated wife to a Buffalo firefighter and a mother of three. She is passionate about giving back and believes in the importance of community engagement to help others achieve their goals. Her favorite Bible scripture serves as the foundation of her success and commitment to making a positive impact in her community, “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4 |

Nydia holds a business degree and brings a wealth of expertise in organizational management, employee relations, and strategic planning. Her dedication to fostering positive workplace environments and her deep commitment to serving others have been hallmarks of her career. Mrs. Wingo a wife of 15 years to Pastor U. Wingo Sr., mom to 5 beautiful children and Grandmom to 3 grandchildren.
Mrs. Wingo has over a decade of work experience focused on the relational and developmental component of education with students from diverse backgrounds. Her passion for education has always been to assist children and families in the community by providing them with the necessary resources needed to grow and be successful both in the home and in their schools. Her personal belief is that educators have a responsibility to the community to establish partnerships and relationships between the school and family that will provide access to opportunity and to edify and enhance their quality of life. As a result, she has developed an adeptness in creating and developing a culture and environment of well-rounded and hands-on-learning lessons and activities that stimulate and promote interest among young scholars. Mrs.Wingo's dedication to student academic achievement, family, and quality education for all youth is recognized as an asset to her community. Mrs. Wingo is excited to be a part of the Persistence Team and looks forward to establishing and leading school-wide systems and programs for behavior management, character development, and education, and supports for student behavior. |
